About the event
Did you know that we humans have over 20 different senses? Did you also know that beings in nature - birds, animals, plants, insects, and (Yes!) us humans - are part of a complex web of relationships? Many studies have shown therapeutic effects of engaging the senses, being present in nature through embodied awareness, and embodied knowing of onself as part of this web of relationships.
You will be offered a series of "invitations" to explore nature through your senses. There will be slow wandering, facilitated group sharings, and lots of resting. Tea under the trees will complete the experience.
Please dress for the weather, apply insect repellent, and bring water.
