About the event
Did you know that we humans have over 20 different senses? Did you also know that beings in nature - birds, animals, plants, insects, and (Yes!) us humans - are  part of a complex web of relationships? Many studies have shown therapeutic effects of engaging the senses, being present in nature through embodied awareness, and feeling onself as part of this web of relationships.
What to expect: A guided nature therapy walk is a structured experience. You will be offered a series of "invitations" to explore nature through your senses. A suprise offering will conclude the walk.Â
What to bring: Please dress for the weather, apply insect repellent, and bring water. If you wish, feel free to bring a folding chair.Â
Participation is donation-based: pay what you want.
*The event can be rescheduled due to inclement weather or extreme heat.Â
